Costa Rica

Costa Rica

This is my favorite picture from Costa Rica because it is reflective of the entire island, push, green and flowering. This was the road I walked every day on the way to Puerto Viejo. This stop on my journey was not for touring or seeing the country. I wanted to be away from tourists, noise and pollution. I chose Puerto Viejo because it met all my needs. Quiet green and on the water. All I wanted to do was sleep, rest and occasionally walk into town. I had access to this beautiful route every day.

My cabin at the beach. It looks like something in Thailand. It was created in the Lanna style from Thailand. It was great.

The view from the porch of my cabin. I spent most of my time on that porch. To me that is a real vacation. No crowds, no selfies, no standing in lines, just relaxing.  Magical!

This picture says it all.  Costa Rica was wasted on me. I love water and I love looking at it. But you won’t find me sunning on the beach, there will not be sand between my toes and this body will NEVER experience a bikini. I was here 7 days and I spent time on the beach just as you see in the picture, fully clothed, an umbrella in case it rained and shoes on my feet. Hahahahaha! I love the beach but I prefer to look at it than to be on it. This is the beach in front of my hotel in Puerto Viejo. Spent many days on the porch of my cabin looking at the water. It was more beautiful than depicted in the pictures.

Puerto Viejo – the town

The moon was almost full. Beautiful!
