This will be a super short post. This trip to Uruguay was a day trip from Buenos Aries. The trip was so long ago I can’t even remember how we got there. I am sure it was probably by ferry. I do remember the low battery on my iPad so I could only take a few pics. No smart phones back then. Well, if they were available I didn’t have one and there was no way to charge my iPad.

I remember the “Calle de los Suspiros – The Street of the Sighs”. There were quite a few myths as to why it was named as such. Below are the only pictures I was able to get before the camera went out. I do remember the cobble stoned streets, no sidewalks and the old buildings in this historic area of Colonia del Sacramento.
